Job Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate Health Care Aide to provide exceptional support to an elderly client residing in their home in Lethbridge, Alberta. Candidates living within commuting distance are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Administer medications under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s health or behavior
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks (cleaning, laundry)
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in senior care, dementia care, or related fields is preferred
