Job Overview
Anne Stevens is looking for a dedicated Home Child Care Provider to support her family by providing exceptional care for her children. The role requires an individual who is passionate about child development, trustworthy, and capable of creating a safe and nurturing environment. This is a live-out position based in North Vancouver, BC, with a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the family.
Responsibilities
- Change diapers and support parents with toilet training
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
- Discipline children according to the parents’ methods
- Organize engaging activities such as games and outings
- Prepare children for rest periods
- Transport children to and from school and appointments
- Assist children with homework and daily routines
Requirements
- Languages: English (Spanish is an asset)
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Site Environment
- Non-smoking environment
- Work within the employer’s home
Experience and Specialization
- Target Audience: Supervise and care for a multi-aged group of children
