Job Overview
Spinal Touch Rehab is seeking a compassionate and diligent Nurse Aide to provide support to healthcare professionals and patients in our Mississauga clinic. This role involves patient care and assistance with daily routines, ensuring a clean, organized, and safe environment for recovery and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the cleaning, sterilizing, and setup of medical equipment.
- Provide patient comfort and care, including personal hygiene tasks.
- Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients.
- Make beds and maintain cleanliness of patients’ rooms.
- Supervise and guide patients through exercise routines.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of medical supplies.
- Transport patients between care facilities and within the clinic using wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Administer first aid in emergency situations.
- Instruct patients in using rehabilitative techniques, prosthetic devices, and wheelchairs.
Requirements
- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
