Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement child-care programs that encourage children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
- Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe, engaging space for children
- Use storytelling and creative activities to engage children
- Assist early childhood educators in running programs designed for children’s overall growth
- Encourage creative expression through art, music, dramatic play, and physical activities
- Guide and assist children with proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods
- Participate in staff meetings to discuss children’s progress and challenges
- Plan and maintain a safe environment that promotes children’s health and well-being
- Organize activities for school-age children before and after school hours
Requirements:
- Languages: English proficiency
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience: 1 to less than 2 years in early childhood care
